Author Topic: Want to buy / build a gaming computer.  (Read 1414 times)

So right now I'm using a laptop with a gt320m and an i3.

I want to get something that can run most modernish (2009-2010) games on high. I don't know anything about building computers / which parts are good. I'd like to buy a prebuilt, but I don't know if that effects the price, I'd rather build it myself then spend $100 extra.

My price range is $500-$700. Help  :panda:

Dude, that sucks.
Hold up OP, I'll get you a good parts list. It's really so much cheaper to build one.

hmmm

have you considered a Bocks TARDIS1337 Compter?

He might not be able to build one.

In which case pre-built is the way to go.

I can build one if it's cheaper. I want the best computer I can get for my ~$600 bucks.

Did you look at the title? :D

It's not that hard. You just weld everything together inside of the case.

It's just like a jigsaw puzzle with 7 pieces.
Apart from the CPU, but you'll have a laptop with you to look up videos on Youtube about how to do it all.

lol I just ordered my $1500 rig (finally ahgahgahgaga) and I decided to be lazy and pay the company to build it  :cookieMonster:

My current computer can't run most new games at any more then 20 fps, even on ultra low. Definitely going to buy.
