Want to buy / build a gaming computer.

So right now I'm using a laptop with a gt320m and an i3.

I want to get something that can run most modernish (2009-2010) games on high. I don't know anything about building computers / which parts are good. I'd like to buy a prebuilt, but I don't know if that effects the price, I'd rather build it myself then spend $100 extra.

My price range is $500-$700. Help

Total: $578 after rebates.
I assume you will be fine with rebates, as you have up to $700 upfront, but once you get them all done, the savings will be $80.
This will run pretty much all games on maximum settings with playable framerates.

It's not that hard. You just weld everything together inside of the case.

lol I just ordered my $1500 rig (finally ahgahgahgaga) and I decided to be lazy and pay the company to build it

My current computer can't run most new games at any more then 20 fps, even on ultra low. Definitely going to buy.
