Because it's supposed to make the game better, in case some handicap accidentally deletes something, the game fixes itself.

This is actually the proper way to type. One space after a comma, two spaces after a period. I myself don't do this because it looks strange to me, but that's just my opinion.

Maybe because it's a feature he implemented on purpose, and he doesn't want people breaking his new feature all willy-nilly.
