Also when you said you shot his hat, how did you shoot so accurately without glasses yet alone have the courage to know you wouldn't kill him. Better yet, who wouldn't loving run after a gun is fired or neighbors call the police.

Only a little over the top but the story is only sounding less and less believable the more people point out story errors.
