GT 440

Can actually run BF3 on low with res @ 1600x1050, 6670 isnt very good since it has less performance than 3870
You're the biggest nVidia fanboy ever.

The HD6670 is the more powerful card.

It has a driver.
Just not a very good one. :c
Yeah, and still they manufacture the most powerful raw video card on the planet, the HD6990, and it still beats the GTX590 in power with bad drivers, and it's cheaper.
Not saying they don't have driver problems though.

I'm using an NVIDIA on my super computer and it works fabulously.

Say I went for the AMD 6770.
How much of a difference would that make?

An nVidia?
That could be anything in their range from an old Integrated 6150SE to a new GTX590, which has about 10000x the performance of the former card.
Research before you recommend.

Very very good.
Well worth the money.
Or, if you can, get a 5770, because they are the same card, they just rebranded it for the new series. So they are cheaper as a 5770.

6770 has a firmware upgrade.

6770 has a firmware upgrade.
Same performance.
The only update is that it uses HDMI 1.4a and not 1.3, so it supports 3d, I believe.

I have the nVidia GeForce GT 520.
I love it.

That's quite low end, lol.

I still love it, and isn't it better than the 420?newer than the 420?

I have a 5700 in mine, and it can run games like Rise Of Flight on max. I used to have issues where the drivers blanked out and then came back but those problems are gone.

Cool
And I'm using the coolmaster elite gaming power supply

The 5770 > 6770, less PSU consumption.
Nowadays you can get some nice cooling on 6770s but the 5770 is still dominant

my current graphics card is an nvidia geforce 9800

It was not too expensive and it can run any game I throw at it at full settings.

However, it will occasionally crash and it runs really damn hot.

Also its a power whore, I had to upgrade my psu for it.

I have never had any problems with my other computer running ATI graphics, but I get the impression that the nvidia one is better for the price, despite its faults
