Can I make it not need the CD to work through Steam? I just remembered my CD drive had bad reviews. I only used it to install Windows. Rather keep it as long as possible. Hell, all the players on NewEgg had bad reviews.

Wait, what was I even trying to say there?

It's so people can make stuff for the game beforehand and use it instantly. It isn't like they outsourced the character creator to a separate program. There's actual game stuff they left in, like vehicle data, because they did a bad job separating it.
Pepsidude:
Should I make an attempt at Barrack Obama on Initiation Station?

You can get the CD key from the case and enter it on steam.

And then it's default NoCD stuff by downloading it through Steam? :o
Awdax:
You can go out and buy the CD. Install the CD, and enter the serial number in Steam, and it will be registered as a Steam game. It's faster to install it and enter the key instead of entering the key and downloading the game. It's what I do with L4D.
