I'm not exactly sure what this is or what it does, it doesn't appear to break anything but I don't want to simply believe it doesn't.

It's probably some issue with "read-only" on my custom stud textures. If that's the case I should just uncheck "read-only" right?

Make an addon rather than making things read only. You will only hurt yourself by making things read only.

In this case if the game is running OK, then everything is fine.

The read-only issue may be the cause though right? Badspot did mention something about read-only files loving up Blockland.

i only read only'ed a couple ui files

I receive this error as well. As far as I know I have no read only files.
