Author Topic: Remember the good old days?  (Read 3743 times)

I remember when I was a loser and played with Space Guy's bot's in GSF's Maps. Then a year or so later I came across the game again and decided to buy it.

When all the guns were recoloured pistols (Either it was popular at the time or when I first joined I didn't have the models downloaded) and you loved watching stuff like Away At War and ranting on about how you wanted the rifles they had in it?
Talk about nostalgic stuff, you old farts.
The old [SS] Dogfight used em, yes I'm 25k but I remember, the re-colored print guns were grenades  :cookieMonster:

^was my first server I ever joined

i'm in away at war :D
also, remember when nobody used iban's stuffty cityrp mod and having a wrench made you god?

Before the Port Foward update only good servers up all the time and no server spam thoose were the days :P.

I remembered that i joined blockland at v11 having fun with people.

Or way back when Lance hosted his "Classic City RP" with no mods at all, way back in 2009.

JORGURS DOGFIGHTS! Ohh yes. They were badly evented but so much fun.

Today is better than the old days. :/

NOSTALGIA

(team chat was used too)

The mini island thing at Badspot's v12 server. That was awesome.

Until people started making their own and left all of the builds there to remain without updates.

I remember when I first got retail, I joined the arcade build at Badspot's and was just completely amazed at what events could accomplish.

(i think i actually saved it :o)

Does having a 15k BLID make you somewhat an old-timerish thinger?
