Author Topic: And this is why I hate kids... How do I remove sticky stuff from controllers?  (Read 2848 times)

Honestly, Architecture, your brother needs to learn respect for other people's things, but you physically and possibly mentally harmed him over vanity items.

"Get the hell out of my room you fat forget."
"If you come into my room to play that handicapped game one more time for the rest of the week, ill deck you."
He left my room crying.
Hes an attention grubbing whore.
I grabbed him by his arm, digging my nails into his skin, and threw his ass out of my room.
He started bawling.

You need therapy

If you didnt want him in your room, why didn't you just take the PS3 and put it somewhere where both of you could play it? If it's your PS3, he has no right to play it; but even then you know he's going to be a brat and try playing it anyways.

Think of it like this; if you had an older brother who had the money to buy an expensive console, and you had an allowance of 4$ or something every week, wouldn't you want to use the expensive console too?

The problem is everyone is going to assume that all the grim exaggerations Architecture made about his little brother is true, and side with him. Just because it's his PS3 doesn't mean he can threaten his brother for using it, and hurt him when he doesn't do as he says.

OP is a bigger brat than his brother, as far as I can see.

I would, but I wouldn't say that handicapped stuff to my brother if he did allow me to play on it. Brats these days don't know how to be thankful/respectful.

Duct tape a padlock on the console, he will never get through!

When I was a child, I was respectful to everyone, now THEY treat me like stuff.
Anyways, try getting those good-smelling-whatever-rags and try wiping the controller with them.

My idea is to probably block your door with a chair if he wants in whilst you're in there. Lock the door if you're outside of your room if it has a lock. If he finds a way to get in, lock the bitch in his own room before he touches your controller.

Try using a toothpick or other sharp object to pick off the sticky stuff. It worked for me

Your brother doesn't deserve to live if he's only 9 and he's a badmouthed Black Ops junkie.

I bet he doesn't even use the Riot Shield >:C

KILL HIM WITH FIRE

@First Page: Sorry, I actually dont know how hold he is. I've never paid much attention to birthdays and such. Thats why I put two ages.

How am I a bigger brat than him? I've allowed him to come into MY room EVERYDAY and play the console I paid for. I've been fine with it for 2/3 weeks now and the one time that I was in a bad mood and he talked stuff to me, I'm not allowed to threaten him?
When I tell him not to come back into my room for the rest of the week to play my console, I'm the brat? Their weeks arent even long here. Monday - Wednesday they're here, but Thursday - Saturday they're with their mom. All he had to do was stay out of my room for the rest of the night and I probably would have forgotten about it.

Same here. I've always been calm when around adults and never mistreated their stuff.

Im basically going to say the same thing to you as I said to Ike.
I've been allowing him to come in my room for the past 2/3 weeks now and play that handicapped game. The one time he pisses me off and I tell him to leave my room, yet he doesnt listen to me, does not mean im going to move the console. The PS3 in my room serves a lot of purposes in my room.

And to anyone whos thinking, "Well, if your brother didnt have anything to play outside of your room, shouldnt he have a right to play on your console?"
No.
He has an xBox 360 in his room along with about 30 games he can play. My sister has a PS2 in her room with a bunch of games he could play. In the living room we have a Wii that he could play. If all else fails, he could go outside and actually exercise because he is really loving fat.

Where I come from kids might be annoying, but they aren't richards.
