this is dumb and so are you
Go play somewhere away from me. These comments prove exactly why we can't have this kind of lifestyle; aggrovators such as you. I'm not an angry person. I don't get angry at silly things. But I do when people like you go and start insulting here and there.

Also, fully educated != well educated. For some people, even no education is enough; but for others, that is just not the case.

Gah, you should see where I'm coming from. I compulsively try to make people see things from my point of veiw then forcefully try to make them agree.

theoretically, the smartest person in the world might want every other human being dead

We must build a City upon a Hill, Blah! We must set an example of peace and prosperity!

Well, no matter how much you plan everything out to be, your journey judges the outcome.

I'd still want more.

Aggravators will always exist by the way, man is not perfect.

If you lived in a society where everyone was fully educated, there would be no need for government and anarchy would be OK. So now you can only blame the richardheads to ask why you can't skateboard anywhere you want to, and there are laws involving stupid stuff.

This is why I've always wanted to be part of a small technologicly advanced tribe where there is no government :D
The premise that government is not needed if people are educated is not self-evident.

To get the ball rolling here, I've got a couple questions. What are the functions of the government? Which of these functions are important, if any? Would these functions be carried out without any kind of governing body? Are these functions still necessary in a society where everyone has a certain level of education?

If the answer to either the last question is "no," the answer to the third question is "yes," or the answer to the second question is "none," then you have the beginning of a complete argument.

I'm also confused about what you actually want. Do you want there to be no government, do you want to be able to skateboard where you want, do you want there to be no stupid laws, or do you want some combination of those three things?

These comments prove exactly why we can't have this kind of lifestyle; aggrovators such as you.
I would argue that they actually have no bearing whatsoever on the issue at hand and that you are getting worked up over something you really shouldn't even be bothered by.

I'm making my own religion.
Is called the kool kids klub.
Kool Kids Klan.
Any one care to join?
It has well educated WHITE people,
oh and BlackMod if he wants.
Caz hes cool.

it's impossible to make everyone on the same intellectual level because there are
uhh
imperfections in society that prevent this

A government is pretty much any body that makes any kind of decision for a group of people.

I'm going to start by saying I'm not expressing myself properly and I know that. I was never good at doing that via a forum or by text without a lot of planning and research. I need to state that I should really say "law" when I say government.
I'm not saying "forget the government!!! riots!!!"

I'm saying that in the ideal world, there are two main rules;
No killing.
No stealing.
And if everyone were like me, this would be perfect and there would be no need for any more rules.

Unfortunately, I know this isn't the case and it never ever will be, and although it saddens me, I still like to daydream about it. It's not like I'm trying to start a revolution. I know very well that what I want can never be.

I respect the government now because they do their jobs. And most of the time, they do it well. (no one is perfect ;)

But if everyone was able to get along, no killing, and no stealing, there would be no need for law.
But people are greedy. Greedy over silly things, like money. Why can't everyone just be happy with the only one thing you will ever need; love? (and of course basic living essentials haha)

A government is pretty much any body that makes any kind of decision for a group of people.
Which is why I like democracy.

One word: Greed.

I came.

In all honesty, I don't see anarchy working, even with a fully educated workforce. There would be nothing in place, nobody keeping everything organized, to set laws and restrictions, to handle issues we can't handle ourselves. Organized government is the key to survival in the modern world.

Not if you teach every kid in school the true meaning of civilization and the words of Ghandi.
It's human nature to be greedy as forget, and be better then everyone else. Whether you accept it or not, everyone is like it.
It's a pretty useful trait for our ancestors to get laid more then the next guy, thus spreading their genes further.

Educating everyone would NOT introduce order of any kind.

in fact, educating everyone would probably lead to more complicated mass richardery
