irrelevant, they accelerated these PAST the speed of light
well, then shouldn't we all be dead
I guess Einstein was wrong

Oh my.
Well, Theory of Relativity be damned.

Basically this means that 100 years of modern science is wrong. :/

Quantum physics, physical science-
So everything they'll teach me in 8th will be a lie?

Basically this means that 100 years of modern science is wrong. :/

well maybe not completely WRONG, but a tad off at least :3

I guess Einstein was wrong

..hence the title of the thread. lol.

So was Newton, it seems our understanding of physics is changing all of the time.

why was this locked for like a second

well, what now?
what are we going to do now that we know he was incorrect in his findings?
like the entire concept of physics was based on his theory, right?

physics arent dependent on light being the fastest thing that exists. it would change some math here and there, and they would have to redefine a few things. thats about it.
science didnt suddenly unfold. the world is prepared to prove and disprove theories. thats how we evolve.

:P

I'm on my iPod and I hit the wrong button

Also could someone briefly explain the theory of relativity to me? I think I understand it but I want to be entirely sure.

scientific understanding is always changing

By the way guys theories as a whole ARE NOT fact and are easily subject to revision.

So was Newton, it seems our understanding of physics is changing all of the time.
well Isaac Newton was fukin old as dirt
he didn't really have as many experiment equipments as Einstein, it's kind of expected for him to be at least partly wrong

Einstein didn't have powerful particle accelerators like we do now.

Well do these neutrinos have any mass? I presume they do.
