Author Topic: Ok so my dad is getting me an Amazon Kindle (Read 904 times)

I've never heard of this before. I only noticed it because at my school i've seen quite a few people carrying it around. My friend Brandon has one and a girl who rides my bus has one. I asked my dad if he knew anything about this and he did. Then I asked if I could get one. He said maybe I can get a Kindle Fire or whatever its named. What do you guys think? I don't know much about these. The girl on my bus who had one was playing a game. I also did research and it said the Kindle was a portable reading device. It can play games too? What do you think?

I just use my iPad for reading, I know nothing of using kindles. They seem nice for reading, though.

they're kind of like ipads, but centered around the "ebook" concept

Oh speaking of kindles; My math teacher said she was going to get us a kindle for an easy way to read our math books at the end of the year. So if I don't get my Kindle Fire then atleast i have a back-up.
