Very few games really offer extra threading support.  Some games can be optimized for Core i7's, i.e. Empire Total War (all 8 of my cores on my i7 930 were around 40%).

That's $476. I feel like I'm being ripped off, and it's way over my budget. :/

EDIT:
What do you think about http://datorfixarna.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=841_22_318_566&products_id=31039 ?

Can you play BC2?

Im currently finding parts on newegg for a build im working on. I already have the graphics card and the powersupply, and hopefully will get the rest at Christmas. Specs:

i5 2500k Cpu
Asrock P67 Extreme4 gen3 Mobo
Cooler Master HAF 932 Case
Nvidia GTX 570 GPU
320GB HDD (I plan on upgrading to more space, but it will do in the meantime)
Corsair Vengeance 8GB Ram

All the other accessories I already have with this computer. The build is quite nice and should play most games out there. The total cost is around 1,100 dollars, probably a bit more. Luckily I already have the graphics card and PSU which is about 400 dollars.

yeah man you should at lest get a 1 terabyte HDD

Hey, is there really a difference with the Radeon HD 5450 and the 6450? 5570 vs 6570?

Also how easy is it to change CPUs?

Im only using around 200GB with everything I have on this computer. But I just changed to a 1TB hard drive after I posted that. 30 bucks more, still worth it.

Also, here are some good benchmark sites that compare hardware performance:

CPUs: http://www.cpubenchmark.net/
GPUs: http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/

Both sites have almost every CPU and GPU on the market.
