i'd use vista over 7 any day, that's how stuff 7 is.
hell, 20% of the programs that were made for 7 are incompatible for 7.

I have come across two programs that didn't run correctly on Windows 7.  Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 ran, but FMVs crashed the game (They didn't work correctly on XP either), and Simcity (Because it's a 16 bit application).  What are you trying to run, anyway?

Its just a better card, its the next card in the series. x6xx cards aren't really for gaming as x7xx are more geared towards gaming

Also, you close metro apps by dragging the top down.

You people make me pretty embarrassed to be a PC user.  every single one of you mindlessly complain about stuff like "dumbing down", when the new stuff is just as capable as the old.  Also, how much do you use the start menu to actually care?

Thanks for that tidbit about closing apps, but here's a picture of my start menu.  I have no icons on my desktop, only internet shortcuts to pages that I want to revisit within a week or share with someone at some point, or etc. miscellaneous items.  For all my programs that aren't Steam games, though...



So yeah the start menu is used pretty often unless you throw all of your icons on the desktop.

The 7750 requires a minimum of a 450W PSU, so you should be fine.
