One problem I see is that they are 2x2, Minecraft seems a little more like 4x4 to me.

They are all exactly 2x2x5, what I do is size my player down to the scale 0.75 0.75 0.75, I can then fit in 2x2 across/wide, and can fit in 10 plate tall spaces
