It keeps telling me "<name> has joined your server!" but:
1. Im not hosting
2. It still does it on title screen whenever they join a server
3. Itll do it if Im in a server too, even if theyre not joining it

I used to get this problem in beta, except it was someone messaging me that I didn't have on my friends list. the alert would come up saying "so-and-so has messaged you!" but there was no message window
I thought the problem was fixed cause I had never encountered it after RTB4's official release, but I guess there's still variations of it around

I've searched the code and there's no string that says "your server" - I can only imagine you're misreading "a server" or something.

This tricked quite a few people. Notifications would get included in screenshots so when they cycled through on your main menu it looked like someone was messaging you and by the time you closed the overlay it was gone. I got caught out by that a few times too, but it hasn't "happened" since I fixed the screenshot issue.

Can you make it so that the windows don't reset placement and size every time you restart BL?

Saving window placement. It would be an option, on and off. It's not resetting placement, it is not keeping track of where you put them.
