What is Pirate Scallywag mode? RTB4

Yeah, don't go bother looking at the manual either. All it says under the tittle of "Special Options" is

For one thing, this isn't the place you would ask that kind of question. Another thing, you could have searched to find out it has existed in RTB4 for at least as long as people have been beta testing it, where as no one has been told of what it does.

I looked in the manual, it says exactly what is quoted in OP.
