And I did not see you die wtf? I also was not in the nether I was in my base jumping around and running like I ussually do. And do you think I wanted this to happen I know for sure I didn't. And I've had worse, eff 4, unbreak 3 diamond pick brand new, a looting 3, sharp 4, unbreaking 3 1/2 used, diamond shovel with eff 4 and unbreak 3, full iron armour. I had jumped in to lava with a fire resistance potion not knowing lava doesn't protect you from fall damage since that part was apparently 1 block deep. And my precious steak and single wither skull long before you were on the server.

also if your going to the nether and building something which you know is very very dangerous why didn't you put your valuables in a chest or something? And at least bring some equitment and use my tips:

potion of invisibility (or armour)
diamond armour with feather falling and full protection IV (Saves you from burning in lava)
When you hear a ghast, retreat for the love of god and look for it then kill.
maybe be a little bit nicer about it?
And I couldn't get all that back for you even if I wanted to get it back for you.

You didn't say that till I was already surrounded, and immediately thereafter I died the first time. The diamond was my equipment. And yes, I did die once before you left. You did not announce your intent to leave until a few seconds before doing so, your prior comments made it sound as if you were already in the nether, and all in all you weren't very clear and since the pigmen were mad, I was murdered. 21 times last I counted.
Fine, don't pay up. I'll rebuild my own loving equipment if you're not going to, but don't expect me to waltz in with the solutions to all your problems in the future.

What I want to know now is who pissed off the pigmen. A ghast, I could handle, but a ghast and ten pigmen camping the portal, I could not.

Maybe you should give his diamond tools back atleast, since ghasts are known to be pain unprepared or prepared. Because I feel kind of guilty even though I did nothing.

I don't grant myself stuff, for the record. Not that it's important, but even though I'm an admin, I play the game just like everyone else.

Anyway, the only conditions under which I can give items back to users is if the reason for losing the items was due to the server malfunctioning, or a serious griefing incident within an established town or city. Under the given circumstances, I'm afraid you have nobody to blame but yourself for losing much of your progress. Just because Zacks left you alone in the nether doesn't mean he pushed you into the lava or something. If you were ill-equipped to be surviving in the nether, that's your own fault.

I'm sorry to hear you're upset about this, but there's no action for me to take that would be fair to the rest of the users. Now seriously, calm down, show some maturity, and perhaps start rebuilding your lost equipment. If you can't manage to contain your rage, I'll be forced to eject you from the server, and I don't want to do that. So maybe go take a walk outside and calm down.

I'll try to rebuild my stuff (though Zacks has what 33 diamond blocks, or was it more now? Either way it's more than I've ever had), though the enchanting will be a bitch.
I'll see what I can do, though I'd appreciate any donations to help rebuild.
Also if anyone needs a buttload of cobblestone I'd be happy to trade.

See, I would have been just fine if the Pigmen didn't come pre-angered. I was just fine waltzing the two thousand five hundred blocks over to his house the first time (I did have to pull out once due to ganged up on), so I was not expecting them to be quite so brutal.

Currently an old pile of Diamonds I found in one of my caves managed to pull me back up to full power with some exceptions: I CANNOT get a goddamn Power IV Infinity I bow, and I CANNOT get six goddamn Unbreaking III books.
