According to Trifax (and the rules) it's completely legitimate since you're not within an established city or town.

So much this. It shouldn't be legal to grief ANYONE's base, whether they live alone or not.
Trifax, you and Kodlee are going to lose players to these two raiding goons. If that's what you want then so be it, but I'm going to start booby-trapping everything, which is a real pain in the ass when you have to regularly bypass your own traps.
