I'm told that if I can't handle losing all my work and progress to a server reset I shouldn't be playing multiplayer. Thoughts? |
| Oasis:
Chunk borders are a sacred right of passage when it comes to Minecraft worlds. Hell, my favorite world has bits of Alpha, Beta, Release, and will have 1.7. I love it. |

Thoughts? --- End quote --- I'm not sure who told you that, but you should never get too attached to any of your builds. We will reset the map sooner or later, and while I don't have details on when or if we will do so for 1.7, know that we upload all of our past maps for download from the kodleeshare website. You can continue to play in single player if you really want to see your buildings again or keep progressing in the game. |

I'd want you to wait for the map to be reset until like 1.9 or something. I feel like this is at the peak of growth more buildings, more towns, and more spawn care. The old map had nothing like that since people got bored of it and went inactive. Single player wont feel the same heck it would be nearly impossible getting to other peoples houses. Like mine for example since there is no minecart track or ice tunnels leading from spawns portal to dragons or mine and such. I really want to build an iron farm and or get a perfect villager, but if the map is going to be reset soon I feel like I will a lot loose motivation if it does. |

i'm used to maps being reset, i wouldn't mind it terribly although a warning about a week in advance would be nice as long as i can download it later :) |
