I was running a server on blockland the other day and i asked my friend if he wanted to join. He said "no theres no ping". I don't know what ping was and you guys are probaly gonna make fun of me and think im a noob and intimidate me. Ill admit im KINDA new to blockland but theres just a few things i dont know like this. So nobody be mean plz. Anyhoo what is ping? plz tell me. :/ |

I think he accidently misspelled the name of a projectile called Pong. If it wasn't that, then i have no idea. EDIT: Pong is default, btw. |

Ping, is the number of milliseconds (1/1000 of a second) it takes to reach the server and back. Having no ping (or "---" ping,) means you are using UPnP and the server cannot directly ping to those ports. |

In the first place, this is an ambiguous topic title. Read the rules before posting. (not that I did that when I was a noob ._.) But still, ping...yeah...most of the time when there's no ping, you can't connect to servers. |

Low ping (0-300) is good, high ping (~500+) is bad. |
