I dated in middle school because I had the good feeling when I wake up in the morning in which I could say to myself "There's someone at school that enjoys my company to the extent of saying we're possibly 'soulmates.'" Even if we didn't meet up outside of school, it's pleasent to sit with someone at lunch that enjoys your company as greatly as you do their's.
