Not coloring inventory icons / Two color inventory icons

This is rather annoying. The colorshift value that colors the inventory icon also colors the item when spawned. Can I not color the inventory icon? My icons have two colors and most certainly should not be recolored.

And my models depends on colorshifting to color it.

If your models rely on colorshift why not colorshift the item too?
As far as I can tell you have to colorshift both.

It's both or none. You'll just have to use opaque textures on the model.
