I actually have to disagree with some of what you say. Most music genres have gone down the tubes, yes. Pop, rock and rap mainly. Then you have electronic, metal, and all the other stuff metal rock groups that consider themselves different. They all suck anyways. But people are definently still playing good music, B.B. King is still alive, so music couldn't have possibly gone down the tubes yet. But overall I think music is still doing pretty well, its just all the bad artists become the ones that get their music produced.

But of course thats all an opinion.

I'd recommend Bob Crosby and the Bobcats if you like Jazz.
