I can't be in the snow. It's too cold on my stuffty body.

But if my disease wasn't affected by cold weather then I probably could've gone but it's so damn hard to control a wheelchair in the snow and if I tried to walk using my cane/crutches I probably would've slipped and broke a bone.

But that's out of the question because it would've been too far of a walk, I can only walk about 10 feet, even with assistance.

No, really. The Church originally had All Saints Day on May 13 to coincide with the Pagan holiday that celebrated the dead souls (in order to help Pagans in converting to Christianity/Catholicism). Then All Saints Day was moved to November 1st (yay), and was renamed All Hallows Day. The day before, October 31st, was All Hallow's Evening which was then shortened to Halloween over time. Various traditions are also alive today thanks to the Church, such as going door to door for treats.
