Author Topic: Furling's Pet-Mod  (Read 6511 times)

stuff, lets have a pets mod. I'm good at modelling stuff. Just let me compare against the model you already have as to what the exact "style" you're going for here.

I will request a picture from Furling next time I see him online

Yeah I'll believe this when it happens.
The only way I can think of to sync pets across a server without a server-side add-on is to have the client use TCP objects to send/receive packets from a seperate server outside of Blockland, which I doubt Furling has the resources or knowledge to do.

I am totally making a loving dragon for this. Lol. Can I? :P

Would this be the sort of style you're going for?

or would it be more like minecraft or (dare I say) Roblox?

The eyes are kinda odd.

The eyes are kinda odd.
I know this was just an example, I cant start when I dont know what style this is intended to be in; there are no other pictures.

Also smoothing doesnt function in Blender's rendering (well it does but it's a seperate setting) so the triangulation around the eyes wouldnt be there in game. That's mostly what makes it look weird.

The Dragon looks sweet, I like it.

Robot (Furling told me to post it). TELL ME IF YOU GUYS LIKE IT!

That's still in the GUI editor, that means no real progress has been made on it, as he may not know how to use a bitmap for a button.
Hopefully it goes as planned, but it probably won't work if the server doesn't have a certain mod.

I don't see why such a small add-on needs to fill up the mainMenu

It uses 3 elements, and all 3 are small. I don't see how thats filling up the menu...
