"Jesus: I am a Jew
Peter: Prove it. What's a 9% tip on a $200 dinner?
Jesus: It's $18, which is very fair"

There are no Sonics within 20 miles of my house ;_;

The commercials on TV make it seem so badass and I want to go there

Well, I hate Sonic. Their food looks and taste like stuff(excluding hotdog with chili and cheese) They always screw up my order and I HAVE to tip them because if I don't then they get all pissed just because I know the personally. That could just be my local Sonic but...

I wake some joke on how your manager is the entrepreneur  and your tips were not good enough so your feeling rebellious because your ass hurts to much.

We went to ihop for sunday brunch. We waited forever for our food, the waitress who was waiting us gave my crying baby sister pie to calm her down, and got us something i cant remember what it was    ( this would all be deducted from her pay). After the food (we always do this) we debated about how much we should give her, since she was so generous to us we would be to. The amount totaled over 75$'s, we left it on the table, and we left. We were about to pull out when this waitress came to us crying. She told us she was having financial problems, and she was praying for something like this. We all felt very good afterwards.

tl;dr: tip your waiters, and waitresses

I ALWAYS give a 15-25% tip.

Wow you're so dumb you could've bought like 2 tanks of gas with that money.

We were being generous, you don't seem to understand that.

Got a $6 tip today.

Just thought it was worth mentioning. :)

I don't order out a lot, but when I do, I always tip about 20%, but usually more to teenage waiters/waitresses or delivery people, regardless of the bill. Serving people can be a hassle a lot of times and more often than not the tip is well deserved. Seems weird that you wouldn't make anymore than $10 for all those deliveries, though. Maybe it was a mistake...I hope you get better tips in the future.

First sentence reminds me of "I don't drink beer often, but when I do, I choose Dos Equis".

I think it was too, I got around $15 that night but my manager thinks I should've gotten more. Everybody thinks there was an error in the dispatch somewhere by tagging the wrong deliveries.

in reference to the poll, $5

My parents usually pay around 15% at restaraunts
it also depends on service,
if the come back and ask us how food was and such
