I like the color scheme on Dutch trains.


Dutch trains are indeed very lovey

Light and medium rail systems benefit countries which are smaller or densely populated.  The U.S. is neither small nor densely populated, so we have no need for sleek lovey (expensive) trains.

Passenger train usage dropped off decades ago.  Rail systems are chiefly used for freight nowadays.  Comparing that with countries which exhibit extensive use of passenger rail is biased.

That's not the point. They are still ugly
