well the 5,000+ page topic is a good example to start in. Jokes or not, who would take this fandom seriously and then joke about loving ponies? You won't look right in front of the norms.

Plenty of people have posted in those 5000+ pages, that's not some great evidence.

Search around until you find similarities of furries. If there was a 5,000+ paged furry megathread all the comments would be strikingly similar.
