Author Topic: My dad is a huge jerk.  (Read 5742 times)

actually thats not a bad idea, destroy it lol

hide it in your toilet, taped from sight unless he looks down.

all items within the house are your parents possessions. lol. even your car.
if kids really had property rights, then how could parents legally ground you from watching tv, using "your" computer.
how can they tear down the obscene posters on the wall that you paid for, and tossed out that skimpy thong they found in your drawers.

none of it belongs to you.
you can find a million dollars, or get it from grandma for your birthday. and its not yours
Where does what say this? I want to know where is says basic rights don't apply to minors.
Show me it and I'll leave.

I figured I would put up fireproofing just in case :3

minors have basic human rights of course. but thats it lol.
human rights do not apply to the toys you have lol, how you got them, where they went.

essentially, as a minor, you are not a citizen yet. you are nothing. you are legal property of your parent. and you have basic human rights deserved for it. thats it.

if you really were your own legal person. then your parents wouldn't have to pay for crimes you commit.

You could at least have the decency to answer his request with an actual citation.

you ever notice how you cant vote? or own land?
are you new to this world?

i never said he "didnt have basic rights"
hes given his human rights hes deserved. hes not beat (or is protcted legally from it) hes not in forced labor. hes not discriminated against in the state (debatable), hes not a slave.
 those ARE the basic rights.

ironically, your right to religion you do not have like a normal person with human rights does lol. as property of your parents, they still control that.

Did you read somebody else's post? I didn't accuse you of saying that. I asked you to provide a citation.

Ok, his dad legally can just take his iPhone because technically he already owned it. Doesn't mean he should.

there is to much to cite lol. that is impossible.
nearly the entire constitution, half does not apply to a minor. this is obvious lol.
the millions of laws that prohibit a child from fdoing the many things adults can do.

citing this stuff is ridiculous. there isnt enough room in this thread for it.

you have to be a new kind of stupid to think a child's rights = an adults.
really amade?

This is a cop-out. I'm not asking you to cite every instance where a minor is excluded from a right. I'm asking you to have the decency to cite a single example as he asked.

people need to flaunt there ego to suppress there opinion. just the norm.

i just did. half the constitution and standard state laws on citizens. perfect examples.
these are our "basic" rights/freedoms.
but as a kid you cant vote or own a gun. (no that hunting rifle your dad got you for Christmas is legally his)
this was a debate that some spoiled ignorant kids here think they are/should be equal to any adult.

while the constitution says we can vote. we still dont let kids do it, as they are not citizens.
Constitution makes no note of these details, we just said forget it, kids arent allowed.

ive given the best examples. you are just a butthurt kid

go try to buy some cigarettes and research. take out a best buy credit card and rent a car.
argue that you have rights as an american lol.
these arent little specific laws for business to avoid lawsuits that you would think. these are all long debated issues regarding the property status that is a child.
