I think that they intended the guardian to be a recurring enemy judging by the presence of tell-tale sound files. |

I think that they intended the guardian to be a recurring enemy judging by the presence of tell-tale sound files. --- End quote --- I counter your chase music with TERROR so you're saying the guardian was just some thing guarding the orb and Daniel frolicked through the ruins until he found it, then he ran away, so the guardian thought 'how could I make this man stuff as many bricks as possible' and manifested into the shadow, providing as many brick-stuffs as he could until Daniel returned the orb? (which he didn't so yah) sounds too complicated tbh. |

The "guardian of the orb" is the force that pursues you. The shadow is just what the characters call it. It manifests itself physically as the shadow, but it's still part of the force known as the guardian. |
