V 1.1 patch is out. http://www.cry-of-fear.com/forum/index.php?topic=789.0 Cry of Fear is a horror mod for HL1 that's been in development for the last couple years. Before you start thinking about Black Mesa Source, these guys are actually making progress and are pretty public about it. It's made by the same guy who made Afraid of Monsters and this time he's got more people helping him. The biggest deal about this mod is that it's a complete overhaul of Half Life 1 in terms of graphics, gameplay, cutscenes, presentation, atmosphere, enemies etc. This image seems to be taken with the game's optional film grain setting. Right now there's almost 2500. |
