Default Builds being "Bumped"

I'm all for the Repair Function being an executable file... but to be "idiot-proof" this isn't possible. Idiots can't find Obvious-Game-Is-Obvious in their My Documents folder.
I want them OUT of my game folder as well, but Badspot has apparantly lost respect for everyone and decided it's best to make us suffer for the moronic 5 year-old children who join the game.

Can't you just set the save files to Read Only like custom brick textures?

Why would you delete default screenshots or saves? I had no idea that they could cause any harm at all.
