You should care, if you don't start acting respectable, or at least somewhat intelligent, these kinds of things will happen, eventually you'll get to the point where you are constantly being flamed for some random idiocy. You will be pushed and Pushed until you rage and hate the community and vice versa, such is the path of many of the new forumers.

In addition to what everyone else said, this community is pretty small, so it's easy for 70% of the community to know who is an starfish fast.
