There are 2 ways your could accomplish this.
1. Change thetaMin and thetaMax to about ~40 and ~50, respectively, then change the phiVariance to ~10 and the phiReferenceVel to 0. If this doesn't cause the particles to move to where you want, you'll have to use the other method.
2. Package player::damage to place the emitter exactly where you want it to be located.
