No, it's not. Asada is an actual Japanese family name. Even if it wasn't, it wouldn't be odd for it to be chosen because half of the people coming up with weird names in anime don't give a stuff what they mean. e.g. suda51 explicitly stated he chose the name "Travis Touchdown" for the protagonist of No More Heroes because it goddamn sounded cool.
