this is the kind of fight scenes i expected the explosive and great kill la kill to be like. i was foolish to think that and all i got was disspaointment.

only around forty seconds of that was particularly impressive and the entire rest of the sequence (and probably the episode, i don't really remember) suffered greatly as a result

the sunglasses punch was the best part.

anime-wise yozakura quartet's always been kinda all over the place (first adaption's story, second adaption's chronological order, art style change, etc), but I still really like it.

it's good, but they definitely got overly ambitious a lot of times and stretched themselves quite thin
also i frequently confused it with Kyousogiga for some reason
