lmao how the forget does that even happen

our middle schools manga section was so uncurated. it was basically hammy downs from students in high school. it was also nestled at the bottom shelf near the edge of the library where all the shadows would accumulate, so all the weebs looked like the dust bunnies in totoro. we had like bleach 1,2 6 and 8, one volume of one piece, yotsuba no.1 (whoever donated that is a homie), a ton of ranma (also a homie), and then like death note 8, that go manga that was drawn by takeshi obata, gantz and forgetin card captor sakura.

and every manga was fuuucked up, so torn. you couldn't even check em out, that's how little a stuff the librarians gave. they just put em in a bin.

my japanese teacher had a big forgetin drawer in her desk that nobody ever saw into and one day she walks into class like 'i stole something from the library' and everyone's losing their minds because sensei is like the most demure and harmless stuff in the world and this kind of cartoon pseudo-delinquent stuff is totally unheard of

so she sits down at her desk and she opens up the drawer and it's just the entire forgetin collection of japanese language ranma 1/2 vhs tapes and she takes out another unmarked unlabeled tape and puts in

so i do a quick count of the tapes and theres like 13 of them and sensei catches on and immediately goes 'season 7 quarter 2' and the girl next to me (who has been losing her mind probably the hardest) goes 'HOW LONG IS RANMA 1/2' and sensei just forgetin opens a second drawer and you hear her ruffling some paperwork around and a couple tests n stuff fall on the floor and she pulls out a big solid black cube rapped in twine and just drops it on the forgetin desktop and they're all vhs tapes and they're all labeled ランマ
