Who doesn't love getting compliments and love all the time?  Some people will literally manipulate and treat others as tools to do that (I'm not pointing fingers here, though).  Most drama queens in high school are like this, they just feed on attention because it's just their natural way.

It's just nobody reported them because people aren't all as whiny and butthurt as you are.
