Blocki is stupid but right. Using this crap is also harder on your HDD and slower. Would you mind pointing out one thing that using the read-only trick breaks that this doesn't?

I started out mostly just saying about how it was a silly way to do it but it evolved into me saying that it was better/different.
Not sillier than copying every overridden file twice on each launch.
