Ephialtes was planning a file sharing API to RTB. But I'm now sure he will actually plan on adding it anymore.

I don't think it would really work at all.

i liked LU's system of trade. instead of whole build lots that we have on bl to save from each other, you could build small model of like 20-300 bricks. save as a static model. but they become tradable items that people can display or play with on their home lot.

Small builds could easily be rebuilt. And wouldn't this lead to huge amounts of static models (huge datablock consumption)?
