Was the event limit always locked at 1000?

I swore it was higher. One of my projects has almost gone completley down the drain thanks to it.

I just loaded a save of mine, and all the ~10k eventlines are still working...

I'm mostly on about at once.

You mean on one brick or on the server in general?
It's not very hard to hit 100 lines of events on one brick. You only need 10 of these bricks to hit 1000. It's not hard at all.
For example, my evented piano and harpsichords have evented songs with lots and lots of notes. The longest songs contain about 2000 notes -> 2000 eventlines.
