It's one thing to be blunt when someone is completely and totally wrong to a ridiculous degree. Like, if someone seriously says that we should nuke China I will not hesitate to call them a loving idiot with no idea how the world works. But other times, someone will make a minor forget up (or state an unpopular opinion), get attacked, and grow into a bitter, hostile person. They end up flaming another user and they get flamed back in an endless cycle that only leads to madness, and nobody can ever apologize for their wrongdoings or admit that they're wrong in an argument because it's almost guaranteed you're going to have the people you pissed off or argued with coming right up to stuff all over you. This just leads to infinite stubbornness and hostility. I know I'm guilty of this but I never really noticed how bad it was until now. Guess I'm going to have to change.

I remember that, but I thought it failed horribly

I AM THE 1%.

What is this all about? Well, it is a drama thread regarding about 99% of the forum users not being humble or having submissive respect to each other. You have a little mistake and bam, you've got 5 posts of people calling you a "loving idiot".

I may have flamed back in my days, but, I've realized I don't want to be a moron pointing over everyone's mistakes and rubbing it in as a trophy.

I don't need any quotes or proof to say this. I just want you to stop with this. Does the "no flaming rule" even take action?

I'm not here to point fingers but I know exactly who are the ones that are doing that.

I AM THE 1%.

This is the part I was talking about where I fly off the handle at how utterly dumb a post is.

autism!!!

I wonder why almost everybody on this forum thinks bad about autism.

Does the "no flaming rule" even take action?

that is usually only enforced in help, gallery sections.
anywhere else, its gotta pretty pretty extreme to matter, because generally its ok to flame if you can keep it in context and not abuse it.

Because Trogtor

I've done it less than I use to. Usually this forum represents everyone who has a machine-gun armed with arguments, they shoot off everywhere but don't aim and think before acting.

Ask Stocking.

Mostly they're hiding their own weaknesses and trying to cover for it.

Also does anyone remember that "Be Nice" campaign?

I'd like to pretend this never happened.
