Democracy is extremely inefficient in a utilitarian environment, where function is more important than opinions.

In the case of server administration, as well as the corporate life, utilitarian dictatorships are the most efficient, where the leader controls all aspects but makes sure the environment is functioning.

Oligarchic servers with many admins should also use this type of governance, but in the form of Oligarchic Utilitarianism, where the admins base their decisions off of functions and rules.

In other words, lets pull democracy and opinions out of this situation.

The reason Ike was cancelling the votekicks was because people tried to votekick those who didn't break a rule (a server rule not a personally imposed rule)

Custard there is no corruption in the administrative force. Ike was enforcing the rules of the server it's not his fault you two disagree with the rules but he was not being corrupt.

Personally I am all for any type of kill. In my games I allow spawnkills,ect. However I do make it very hard to actually spawnkill in my games,2 but if a player manages it, good job. However just because that is my personal rules I don't feel I should enforce it on other peoples servers and neither should you.

As to your questions about my drama I never saw those.

1:I wasn't trying to enforce a rule, or backseat admin, I was trying to keep the game fun, utilizing votekick as it was my only way of doing so.
2:Granted, and I agree completely. If it's a pain in the ass to spawnkill, let them do it! But when the spawn is on the ground in a wide open field where anyone can get to it and spawnkill easily, I disagree with allowing it.

Same problem here. I hate votekick with a firy passion. I canceled every votekick that was made without reason, and I started and canceled a votekick on twente as a joke because he said "votekick me" or something.
