Could someone make the default ball into a playertype so you can roll around?

Properties I think it should have:
- Ball color is the color of player's chest node.
- The player can jump, but not as high as normal.

and when you walk, the ball rolls

Oh gosh, that would be interesting.
Would it be possible? To create a vehicle every time the player spawns as the playertype, and make it increase its torque in different directions depending on the player's walking, so that the ball doesn't just roll perfectly and stop perfectly once you stop walking?

On the other hand if someone did the ball animations and stuff
I would gladdly do the programming part.

Would it even require an animation(s)? If it's the default ball model, wouldn't you just need to script it to roll when the walking keys are pushed, elevate when jump key is pushed, etc.?

Closest thing we have to that is an old vehicle called the Fun Ball. It's a sphere frame that can be colored to preference with five seats in it. I remember a long time ago, bouncing around in that thing...
