no when I first saw Trog I decided I didn't like him just because of it but I got over that

Well, yes.
Why do you throw up? Your stomach rejects the food you ate, it was probably bad. Luckily you did.
Why do you get a fever? You slept in the cold or your brain is about to explode.
Why does she have arthritis? She did something stupid and caused some problem with her joints or she overused her muscles to the point of no return.

Actually, Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, which she claims she has, you are BORN with, so no, she didn't do anything to cause it.
