| Kalphiter:
Just 1 week and 2 hours until it begins. I'm still thinking of a schedule, but here's a draft: December 30th or earlier: Music downloader ready for download Note to my admins:: You also need 2 add-ons, one for the text board, and one for selecting music. Since it's just a small range of people who need this, I can give this to you guys the day of. 4PM: Party open to public To fill the 2 hour gap: Fun activities, to be announced 6PM: Sample countdown (GMT-1), with some features stripped. Just a teaser for the next countdown. Inactivity for ~30 minutes for me 7PM: First semi-full celebration (GMT). Still won't be as celebratory as the primary celebration (EST), but definitely more than the previous celebration. To fill the 5 hour gap: Fun activities, to be announced New Years' has to travel 5 hours over the ocean, so I have to plan a lot. More music selection this year, 300 loops, so I don't have to worry as much about filling the time. This is "the moment" of the party because it will be most populated as the EST midnight approaches. 12AM: This will be the celebration, you just have to attend it (GMT-5). It will be full-featured compared to the other celebrations. After this, I have another 3 hour period to fill. I don't know what the population of the server will be as I haven't done it after this time. I've decided that there will be no other celebrations for the middle timezones of the US. 3AM: Final celebration for GMT-8 (west coast), will be as full-featured as the 12AM celebration. A few notes: The population among timezones in the US is listed from greatest to least: east coast, central, west coast, mountain. I imagine that the server will be most populated for east coast, but the west coast celebration will also be heavily populated. Fun fact: Excluding Washington DC, New Jersey has the densest amount of Blockland players per square mile. I don't have exact figures for players per square mile, however using IPs used to host does provide an accurate understanding of what state has the most Blockland players. The figures are as follows: (region => Server hosting IPs per sq mile) District of Columbia => 1.139 New Jersey => 10.622411693057 Connecticut => 11.405349794239 Rhode Island => 13.205128205128 Massachusetts => 18.781138790036 Maryland => 25.166328600406 Ohio => 28.789338471419 New York => 29.877327491785 Pennsylvania => 30.319289005925 Florida => 32.154034229829 California => 38.525770769593 New Hampshire => 38.636363636364 Illinois => 39.131081081081 Georgia => 39.380384360504 Delaware => 41.483333333333 Virginia => 42.350495049505 Indiana => 52.933139534884 Tennessee => 53.822477650064 Washington => 65.412844036697 North Carolina => 67.867591424968 Missouri => 70.266129032258 Wisconsin => 72.213891951488 South Carolina => 72.279909706546 Michigan => 78.107028753994 Kentucky => 79.388998035363 Colorado => 86.889816360601 Alabama => 87.219633943428 Vermont => 90.698113207547 Louisiana => 96.897196261682 Texas => 97.70134594398 Minnesota => 97.904279279279 Utah => 98.71976744186 Arkansas => 106.78514056225 Oklahoma => 117.6734006734 Arizona => 126.94654788419 Oregon => 156.90749601276 West Virginia => 170.6338028169 Hawaii => 198.74545454545 Iowa => 200.25622775801 Mississippi => 204.34599156118 Maine => 218.42592592593 Kansas => 277.96283783784 Nevada => 300.4375 Nebraska => 359.78604651163 New Mexico => 406.65217391304 Idaho => 407.65853658537 South Dakota => 856.84444444444 Montana => 885.79518072289 Wyoming => 914.18691588785 North Dakota => 1386.2745098039 Alaska => 1817.1698630137 Timezone data, showing EST being the most populated, is as follows: -0500 => 17439 -0600 => 11476 -0800 => 6639 +0000 => 5428 -0700 => 3953 +0100 => 3949 +1100 => 1851 +0200 => 1144 +0800 => 888 +1300 => 602 -0200 => 411 +1000 => 398 -0900 => 365 -0400 => 302 +1030 => 287 +0700 => 132 +0300 => 121 -0300 => 105 +0400 => 91 +0500 => 67 +0000 => 55 +0900 => 38 -0430 => 27 -0330 => 23 +0530 => 10 +0600 => 3 |
