The avatar that inspired my forum avatar was made by Ephi. I don't even know if it's a hat he's wearing, or just a really really weird haircut. This is something I've lost a lot of sleep over, dwelling on the concept for eons. Due to the high controversy of the matter in my head, I have yet to decide whether those are earflaps or sideburns. Though if my Christmas avatar is wearing it as a hat, I guess it's a hat.

But frills on earflaps are dumb.
