Pretty much since the time I have met you YEARS ago you have been constantly provoking me until the point I have banned you from the server while you are on it. I don't need any "proof" of it because when we are reviewing applications many of us take our own personal experience with the user applying to decide how much validity is in the application and from my experience with you I can tell you that your application definitely lacks validity. Whether or not you remember it is your problem but the fact of the matter is I do. the investigation was a few weeks/months back when Tophat wanted to know more about your non existing tenure as an admin on my server and seeing as I am already an Admin here it would be good to get some first hand information from someone who is trusted to moderate the server because generally past experience/recommendations from current admins stand out. I told him that it was a lie and not only that but you were banned. Conveniently a few days after your admin application you seeked me out by trying to add me on steam but I wanted nothing to do with you and you know it as made evident by the PM snip which will be attached to this post. In the PM you know the reasons I have never taken to you and also admit to your immaturity which are also some of the reasons for your ban. As for "Why would you lie?"? I don't know. Frankly that's not my problem either. All I know is that you were never an admin for me and i won't allow a lie to go unnoticed in an application. Particularly when it mentions me.
If you wish to discuss this further Butler I would ask that you make a drama topic. This topic is for the discussion of the Boss Battles server and I don't think anybody wants to see a back and fourth argument here.
I am sorry for the text block but I felt what I had to say was necessary. I will not discuss any further unless another Admin contacts me directly or it is discussed else where.

Here are some tips for applying for administration, or really anything in general in some cases:
* 1) Do Not Use buzzwords such as "Admin Abuse"- This is a really good way to pinpoint people who don't really understand administration in general; as writing buzz words into your application implies you don't actually know what an admin is supposed to be doing or how to be one yourself. "Abuse" is a buzz-word, and buzz-words result in buzz-kills.
* 2) Use spellcheck and proper grammar - I don't know why anyone would ignore the basic fundamentals of writing anything, but we get illiterate applications from time-to-time that need a serious translation, because they are written so awfully that we can't even review them. If you can't even write coherent sentences, then chances are you won't be a very good admin.
* 3) It's not about what you say, but how you say it - The best way to understand how this works is with an example; take the phrase "I will be a fair admin." This is something you might see on a typical application, now take the phrase "I will use my knowledge to render impartial judgment on various issues." Both essentially mean the same thing, but one sounds significantly better.
* 4) Highlight your administration style - Everyone runs a boat a little differently, and that's important to know. Applications that include examples of tricky situations that your level-headedness and administrative abilities helped to fix are a very good thing to include, and frankly we don't see very often. Its a very good way to judge easily how effective someone would be as an admin.
There are other things, but this should help you improve your applications, or let you know that as fun as being admin is, you might not be cut out for it.
