Have to look into it more, but I'd guess someone made a pretty good knockoff insofar as stuff breaking, but the emitter is wrong and we're not all dead yet so that's how you know that it's not the real one.

The Platinum Chest itself is a treasure of such immense value that only artifacts of the gods themselves are worthy of being held within.
But I think we just use it for gardening equipment. Was in Lugnut's tool shed last I heard of it.

Oh, and I'm sure someone put an auto-banner in there. Wouldn't want those things falling into the wrong hands.
