I've been asleep and stuff so I haven't been looking here, figured I'd reply to some stuff as well.
When can I be unbanned, I wanna see all this fun stuffs.
Pretty sure I remember your 'sibling' Tills got you banned. I believe we were fine if you came back on a key Tills couldn't access.
On a side note.... WHY THE HELL WAS OF ALL CLASSES GENTLESPY NERFED!?
This is far by the worst one yet, gentle spy is now just the old infiltrator from the bedroom days...
There was no reason to remove the cloak and dagger, being able to not have your invisibility drained while standing still is what made gentlespy, not the dual revolvers.
Nobody ever even complained about it
This is incorrect. Along with the bugs of the cloak and do nothing and the functions of it, made it perfect for camping or stalling rounds. Plenty of players did it, I was sent proof before and also witnessed it myself more times than I'd like to count. I've had to ban players for it. For the players that could actually use it? Maybe every 10 rounds they could get a cloakstab, depending on the boss. If they jumped, did a backflip and hope the knife likes them this time around.
something about this just really pissed me off when I found out, its just going to far, just add a win button for the boss while your add it, if you look at the score the score really tells how things are going (ex.)
Normals = 2917 | Bosses=98086125
These scores are exaggerated BTW
I rarely ever get mad over things like this, but this... of all things this!?
Please someone explain to me what was so awfully unbalanced about getlespy, and don't say "Oh players would stay still cloaked till the end of the match" because who the hell would do that, you don't waste points to stay still in a whole match.
I don't get the "scores" you mention. If you're talking about wins of each team, it's pretty much even, maybe a 500 round difference at times. With the normals winning more often than the boss. Now if you were talking about points, of course some bosses are going to have millions upon millions of points. They've played for longer than others. Points don't matter on round timeout, so I still don't understand the effect of it.
Also, let me tell you; Players pick minibosses like Gentlespy and Samus(still going on) to run around the map collecting chests, then doing nothing other than shooting the admin room if it exists, or admins. If not that, they'll find something. I've had to recently warn about 2-4 players that were wasting minibosses and being an ass about fighting the boss.
Hey guys! How about instead of destroying all these good classes you have, maybe punish the idiots who are exploiting with them? It is against the rules!
Wait, so we shouldn't patch things that are broken, and just ban anyone who does it? Either by accident or on purpose? Because only a few players like a class how it currently functions? Sounds like an excellent idea, 10/10.
Also, yeah, it'd be great if people gave us those really important things called "names" and "BLIDs" which appear to be unknown to most, so we could actually ban someone abusing stuff. Or give us a timeframe. Or pictures. Sometimes I actually get something other than "someone was abusing something sometime in the last week!".
I would just like to say that runner was flawed from the beginning.
There where multiple attempts to fix him, they gave him fake weapons (that didn't help), I think at once he had more than just the force a nature, and he was way too fast too ( faster than infiltrator).
I'm just trying to find something to fill the gap, scientist is more of a engineer type of character and isn't really an head on attack character.
The way I see it this is the class category:
Offense Classes :
Rocketman
Firebug
Defense :
Detonator
Overweight
Constructor
Support :
Healer
Rifleman
Infiltrator
Scientist
So we got 2 offensive classes, 3 defensive and 4 support classes.
I would also just like to point out that most of the time I see people choose Rocketman, Firebug, and infiltrator, and constructor, scientist also but that's because of the "Oh new class!" effect hasn't worn off.
People rarely choose : Detonator, Healer and Rifleman, usually I see people prefer to spend their points to play as Christian Brutal Sniper, decker specialist, and gentlespy.
Note that firebug usage is down due to the recent nerf on him, but infiltrator use has gone up.
People like their fast classes, because most of the times you can not outrun the boss and your basically a sitting pawn waiting to die hoping you do enough damage to kill the boss.
Of course Healer is a fast class, but for some reason I rarely see people play healer, don't now why, I guess some people just want to deal a stuff ton of damage to the boss.
That's about it, the info above from how many people play a certain class may be slightly innacurate, due to the fact there's really no class counter that counts what class is used the most.
Starting from the top of this post.
Scientist is still neat, it's a nice class to use if you're tired of fighting the boss. The deflector is better now, the shield worth using even if it does take a while to upgrade, although the bombs still hit the owner, they do their job well enough. Whatever feeling of "new class" has faded but people still like it to a degree.
No idea when you're coming on, but I've seen players pick all of the classes. Notable classes are overweight who is still too strong and Medic because no one ever plays him, and I'm not sure why. I actually saw some players saying they didn't want to play medic because it "didn't grant points". They implied that someone had said healing doesn't actually get you points to spread a false rumor around.
Moving on, detonator is the hardest class to learn, clearly he isn't going to be played as much as overweight who can do more damage and prove as a larger threat to the boss. Detonator is still strong, but balanced. Plenty still play Rifleman and he's one of my favorite classes, able to dish out plenty of damage but it seriously depends on the map and positioning, playercount as well. Maybe a tad weak, since he has no form of escape, slow speed, 10 less health and a SMG that does nonexistent damage for the most part. So he probably needs a slight buff.
Firebug had a heavy nerf a while back, I buffed him back up to what he used to be for the most part. So his refueling isn't crazy anymore. Clearly it's the end of the world because no one can abuse the jets. Usually how most act. Only thing to possibly buff on Firebug is making the airblast actually do something other than cough on the boss. Or maybe reflect projectiles.
No idea why use in infiltrator would go up, since that class is still bad. Needs a buff to speed or something. Knife is also annoying to use. Anyways, back to your point of "people like their fast classes", would be correct, but Infiltrator being fast isn't. Most bosses don't even have to worry about them since they're slow. I'm pretty sure I've made this point elsewhere, but I'll state it again here. Infiltrator can only be used on the inexperienced, a boss who has been stunned, or a boss who is currently lagging. It's rare for it to be used as intended.
I don't think that would work because I remember from Tezuni's that if the last person alive on a team has it and is killed, the match ends anyway, regardless of the fact that the dead ringer user is still alive
Also as long as we are on the subject of nerfing minibosses I think jugger is OP, or at least when the boss is kaje he is
I think a good solution to this would be to make the miniboss more expensive, so people get it less
First part is correct. Possibly some reworking could be done, but I dread the thought of someone hiding for just long enough to use a dead ringer, then hiding some more. Not really helpful if you seriously want to use a dead ringer. On the second part, there's still issues with the minibosses being a tad strong at low playercounts.
The solution I thought of too in the past, but when you think deeper into it, nothing happens other than preventing newer players from getting it as often. It's what happened with Juggernaut. Being at 11k points did nothing as far as I can tell, other than drain some points faster.
